Who am I

My name is Eva Virc, and I work as a logotherapy psychotherapist with a background in philosophy. I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana, and I am currently finishing my PhD in the same field, focusing on the phenomenology of psychotherapy. Alongside this, I have completed a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Science at Sigmund Freud University Ljubljana and finished nine semesters of specialised logotherapy training accredited by the Viktor Frankl Institute. Throughout my education, I gathered extensive clinical experience: around 800 hours of psychosocial practice, about 140 hours in psychiatric settings, and many additional hours of therapeutic work under supervision, all of which shaped how I understand people and the struggles they bring to therapy. I am also in therapy myself, because I see personal growth and ongoing self-reflection as essential for doing this work responsibly and with integrity. In my practice I work with a wide range of themes including trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional conflicts, and experiences of losing direction or meaning. My interests include how people make sense of their lives, how relationships and transitions shape them, and how themes such as money, identity, and purpose influence the choices they make. I try to offer a space where clients can slow down, explore what they are going through, and reconnect with a way of living that feels more authentic and their own.

I currently work exclusively online, offering therapy in both English and Slovene. This makes my practice accessible to clients living abroad, including those dealing with the emotional challenges of relocation, cultural adjustment, or the feeling of being far from home. At the same time, my work is equally meant for anyone facing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or a general loss of direction. Online sessions simply allow us to meet steadily and safely, wherever you are.
